Scuderia Ferrari HP Introduces SF-25 Livery in London
Scuderia Ferrari HP unveiled its SF-25 livery at the F1 75 launch event at London’s O2 Arena, marking the start of its 2025 Formula 1 season. The event was attended by CEO Benedetto Vigna, Team Principal Fred Vasseur, drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, and team partners.
Technical Innovations and Design Changes
The SF-25, Ferrari's 71st Formula 1 car, features a pull-rod front suspension, a significant change led by Loic Serra’s team to enhance airflow and aerodynamic development. The car is an evolution of the SF-24, with 99% of the components modified.
The Power Unit, while regulated since 2022, has been optimized for performance and reliability. The livery showcases a darker, matte-finish Racing Red, with a white band symbolizing dynamism. Glossy and matte details balance tradition with modernity.
Team Objectives and Driver Statements
Following a shakedown at Fiorano, the SF-25 will proceed to pre-season testing in Bahrain.
Fred Vasseur, Team Principal, stated, "The SF-25 represents months of dedicated work. We aim to build on last season's performance and compete for both titles with our new driver lineup."
Loic Serra, Technical Director Chassis, noted, "The SF-25 is an evolution with significant changes, including the pull-rod suspension, aimed at maximizing performance in a closely contested season."
Enrico Gualtieri, Technical Director PU, emphasized, "We have optimized the power unit for performance and reliability, ensuring it can function at every track and event."
Charles Leclerc commented, "I'm excited for the SF-25 launch. Our goal is to win both titles. Lewis's experience will be a valuable asset."
