McLaren and Mercedes Lead the Charge

The Formula 1 United States Grand Prix has seen teams introduce various upgrades, with McLaren and Mercedes making significant changes to their cars. The four-week break since the Singapore Grand Prix provided teams with an opportunity to focus on development and manufacturing.

McLaren's Comprehensive Package

McLaren has brought a substantial upgrade package, including a new front wing, front suspension, front brake ducts, rear suspension, rear brake ducts, and beam wing. This is one of the largest number of components submitted by any team.

Red Bull's Focused Approach

In contrast, Red Bull Racing, which had announced a new package for Austin to solve the car's balance and performance problems, is only bringing two updates; we're a long way from a REV-B to start this triple header.

Red Bull Racing: 2 updates for COTA

Red Bull Racing has focused on specific areas, introducing a new floor specification and an updated engine cover. While the changes may seem smaller, the team has likely made weight-saving modifications to existing components.
We will see if these limited changes will be enough to help them catch up with McLaren and other rivals.

Other Notable Upgrades

Mercedes has also introduced a significant number of new parts, including an upgraded front wing, front suspension, floor edge, floor fences, sidepod inlet, and engine cover.

Aston Martin has a substantial update package as well, with changes to the front wing, front wing endplate, engine cover, floor, and diffuser.

Alpine has a new floor body and floor edge, along with bodywork on the engine cover and a reprofiled rear wing.

Haas has a more extensive upgrade, including a new sidepod inlet, complete new floor, updated rear brake drum cascade, and changes to the engine cover exit and cooling louvers.

Williams and Ferrari Maintain Status Quo

Williams and Ferrari have not listed any new components for the United States Grand Prix.
